David Ho has a peep at some of the looks from the Met Gala 2025

Held every year on the first Monday in May, the Met Gala is an annual fundraising benefit for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City that has become known as “fashion’s biggest night out”. This year, the 2025 Met Gala's theme follows and celebrates the Costume Institute’s new exhibition, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”

It's not just the Met Gala itself where attendees make waves. On the eve of fashion’s most iconic night, Rihanna captured the world’s attention as she revealed her pregnancy during a stunning appearance at The Carlyle Hotel — the legendary staging ground before the Met Gala red carpet. Rihanna made sure to add some sparkle with high jewellery creations by Messika, wearing their Diamonds Frequencies studs, the Precious Flow necklace, and the Toi & Moi Precious Flow ring for this defining appearance.
