May 14, 2025
The Cannes Film Festival has long been the place where the next big thing in the movies is discovered. David Ho has a look at what the stars wore
Former Victoria's Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio wore a strapless emerald dress from from the Zuhair Murad Couture Spring 2025 collection to the opening ceremony red carpet. She paired it with exclusive preview pieces from Pomellato's 2025 high jewellery collection, namely a magnificent 55.96-carat tanzanite necklace with an innovative asymmetrical construction. Matching ring complete the Asimmetrico Tanzanite parure.

Actress Eva Longoria wore a Tamara Ralph haute couture rose gold bugle beaded gown, contrasted with a black velvet corset and exaggerated bow, from the designer's most recent Spring/Summer 2025 collection.

Gong Jun, also known as Simon Gong, shined in some Messika bling.

Other stars that sported Messika jewellery include The Falcon and the Winter Soldier star Erin Kellyman.

Thai-British actress Rebecca Armstrong dazzled at the Cannes Film Festival in an elegant white suit from Vietnamese brand L'espoir Studio. She completed her look with accessories from Nakamol, supporting Thai fashion.

Despite a ban on nudity and "voluminous outfits" for this year's Cannes Film Festival, Heidi Klum showed up in a larger-than-life floral Elie Saab gown and we love her for it.

Because of the dress code restrictions, Halle Berry had to make a last-minute change from an "amazing dress by Gupta" with too big of a train to a striped Jacquemus gown instead.

Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz Jr kept it classy and classic in a suit for his first appearance at the event.
