The Sound of Prada - presented by Prada Eyewear - takes Berlin by storm with a trio of DJs and a slew of celebrity guests

Shades are synonymous with celebrities and DJs. So naturally, Prada Eyewear brought both together in the 2025 chapter of their musical site-specific event - The Sound of Prada - in Berlin. Held on May 28, the event was staged at the Kranzler Eck, a historic café located on Kurfürstendamm in Berlin’s Charlottenburg district that has been a hub of the city’s social and cultural scene since the 19th century.
Multi-award winning entertainer Janelle Monáe was the headliner for this edition, where she spun a DJ set under her alter ego, DJ Johnny Jane.

She was accompanied by two DJs whose musical styles find perfect reflection in the cross-pollination characteristic of the Berlin. Opening act Christian AB seeks to break down musical barriers within electronica, while closing act Channel Tres blends techno and house with West Coast rap in his distinct style.

The Sound of Prada had its debut show in Paris in 2019. Since then, subsequent chapters were held in London (2021), Cannes (2022) and Seoul (2024), each taking over a landmark space in the host city to amplify a global message of music, contemporary culture and fashion.

The Sound of Prada Berlin was attended by guests including Kit Connor, Wolfram Eckert, Ncuti Gatwa, Prada Ambassador Benedetta Porcaroli, Prada Ambassador Troye Sivan, Clemens Schick, Lilith Stangenberg, Langston Uibel, Lisa Vicari. Peep the photos of the celebrity guests below.
