Balenciaga's launch plans for its collection with Automobili Lamborghini

David Ho looks at Balenciaga's new collaboration with Lamborghini and their exciting launch plans

Shortly after announcing a new creative director in Pierpaolo Piccioli, Balenciaga has launched its Automobili Lamborghini collaboration.
The collaboration with the luxury sports cars was first unveiled as part of the fashion maison's Fall 25 collection. The series spans ready-to-wear, leather goods, jewelry, and accessories, with key styles including oversized bomber jackets, motorsports-inspired leather racing jackets, T-shirts, hoodies, and trompel’oeil layered shirts printed with artwork depicting the 2025 Lamborghini Temerario.
The series is available in select Balenciaga stores, as well as its online stores.

To celebrate the collection's arrival, fans can expect special activations to take place worldwide featuring customized super sports cars, artworks, videos, and an in-store Automobili Lamborghini Apple Vision Pro virtual experience.
To kick it off, there is to be an outdoor activation featuring Lamborghini Revuelto super sports cars with Balenciaga graffiti decals will be presented in front of Balenciaga flagships worldwide, including Avenue Montaigne in Paris, Taikoo Hui in Shanghai, Greene Street in New York, the Design District in Miami, Dubai Mall, The Hyundai in Seoul, as well as a special location in the Toranomon district in Tokyo—each region showcasing a unique colorway.

There will also be in-store activations featuring Automobili Lamborghini driving simulators by Vesaro, incorporating genuine Lamborghini components and designed in collaboration with Lamborghini Centro Stile, will be installed in Balenciaga flagships at Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris, Sloane Street in London, and Taikoo Hui in Shanghai.
Another exclusive in-store activation will be Automobili Lamborghini’s Apple Vision Pro experience that lets users explore the new Lamborghini Temerario, giving fans the chance to connect with Automobili Lamborghini’s world through immersive virtual reality technology.
Things are going to be happening online too. A livestream video inspired by POV race footage—filmed from the interior and exterior of a Lamborghini Revuelto—will be played in a continuous loop across the Balenciaga’s social media platforms, depicting routes that lead to the brand's flagships in Shanghai and Miami.
