"...Amongst connoisseurs and admirers of the arts, Art Basel remains a flagship international exhibition that never fails to captivate. Its magnetic appeal has now been elevated to new heights with the announcement of a long-term partnership between ZEGNA and Art Basel, a move that reinforces ZEGNA’s unwavering commitment to supporting artists and fostering creativity embedded with profound social and environmental values..."

For ZEGNA, art has never merely served as a decorative embellishment, but rather as a “language of values,” passed down since the early 20th century. As Ermenegildo Zegna, the brand’s visionary founder, once said, “Art and beauty should serve as daily sources of inspiration.” This belief led him to commission local artists to adorn the wool mill in the town of Trivero, not as an indulgence, but as a way to cultivate a culture of beauty in harmony with industrial purpose.

Since then, ZEGNA’s vision has flourished continuously, expressed through public art projects created by international artists such as Daniel Buren, Dan Graham, and Roman Signer, not chosen for celebrity, but for their ability to genuinely interpret the soul of ZEGNA. And now, this quietly profound vision has reached a new chapter through a partnership that spans four major cities, Basel, Miami Beach, Paris, and Hong Kong, where ZEGNA will co-present works and experiences that weave together art, design, and responsible entrepreneurship.

At the very heart of this collaboration lies “Visible,” a project born from the joint efforts of Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto and Fondazione ZEGNA. The initiative is designed to support artists who employ their creative practice as a tool for driving meaningful social change.

What makes this initiative even more compelling is ZEGNA’s dedication to amplifying voices that dare to reflect the truths of our times. This past June at Art Basel in Basel, the recipients of the 2025 Visible Fellowship were unveiled, artists and collectives who harness their craft to confront pressing environmental and societal issues. The evening also honoured the illustrious Michelangelo Pistoletto, recently nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, in recognition of his lifelong pursuit to turn art into a transformative social force.

“Art is not something apart from life; on the contrary, it should be rooted in the very places where life unfolds,” he once reflected. This philosophy embodies a continuum of creative spirit, bridging generations, from Ettore Pistoletto Olivero to Michelangelo Pistoletto, and now finding new expression through ZEGNA’s evolving role in the cultural realm.
