Tod’s celebrates the iconic Gommino and unveils Italian Hands in the Heart of Manhattan

With its sleek, minimal silhouette and meticulous hand-stitching, the Gommino is not only a fashion staple globally but also a testament to the brand’s commitment to wearable luxury for everyday life.

At the heart of the evening was the launch of Italian Hands, a beautifully curated book that pays tribute to Italy’s master artisans. Featuring compelling photography and insightful interviews, the book presents a rich narrative of craftsmanship, Italian culture, and the lifestyle that has shaped the country's creative heritage. It is both an homage to the hands that create and a portrait of the people who continue to inspire Tod’s vision.

Held on Tuesday, 20th May, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., the soirée brought together esteemed guests at Tod’s boutique on 650 Madison Avenue. In attendance was Diego Della Valle, Chairman of Tod’s Group, who welcomed a distinguished list of guests from the worlds of fashion and entertainment, including Katie Holmes, Rachel Brosnahan, Andrew Scott, Penn Badgley, Danai Gurira, and many others.

Guests were treated to hors d’oeuvres and Italian aperitivo-style drinks in an intimate setting that mirrored the spirit of Italian sociability. At the end of the evening, each attendee received a copy of Italian Hands, a keepsake designed to invite readers into the poetic world of Italian craft and lifestyle.
